Veterans deserve the best assistance our country can provide to maximize their success in 21st Century civilian life. The Program in Rehabilitation Neuroscience (PRN) brings together the best of clinical experience, neuroscience, creativity and technology to foster innovations that meet the real world needs of individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS).

A talented and dedicated team is led by Dr. Anthony J.-W. Chen, MD, a Neurologist and Neuroscientist with the VA Northern California and University of California who has dedicated the past decade to serving Veterans with brain injury through direct clinical care, innovations in care programs, and neuroscience-driven advancements in treatment.

2016 Initiatives: The PRN team is pursuing exciting projects focused on translating research advances into:
1. new technology-assisted tools to optimize cognitive and emotional health,
2. maximizing the success of Veteran’s in school,
3. expanding the engagement of Veterans in vital research and development through a Veteran Liaison Program for Veterans in the Bay Area and beyond.

See PRN’s website for additional exciting details.
