Visiting the Lab

Driving Directions

From Davis/Sacramento:

• Take I-80 West towards San Francisco
• Take I-680 South towards Benicia/San Jose
• About 2 miles after the Benicia Bridge, take Highway 4 West towards Richmond
• Take the Pine St./Center St. exit; turn left at the end of the offramp and cross over freeway
• Turn left at the 2nd light onto Muir Rd (before the movie theater)
• Drive past the County buildings on your right. The VA will be the next group of buildings
• Turn right into the driveway on your right, before the lawn. It is marked "Employee Entrance"
• Once you are in the parking lot, hug the buildings on the right and go up the little hill at the back of the campus
• Our Center is in Building 26
• Look for the 'BLDG 26' sign on the outside of the building

From Concord/Walnut Creek:

• Take I-680 North towards Sacramento
• Take Highway 4 West towards Richmond
• Take the Pine St./Center St. exit

• Take the Pine St./Center St. exit; turn right at the end of the offramp
• Turn left at the 1st light onto Muir Rd (before the movie theater)
• Drive past the County buildings on your right. The VA will be the next group of buildings
• Turn right into the driveway on your right, before the lawn. It is marked "Employee Entrance"
• Once you are in the parking lot, hug the buildings on the right and go up the little hill at the back of the campus
• Our Center is in Building 26

From Martinez AMTRAK:

• Take The County Connection 28 Eastbound bus or the Tri Delta Transit 200 Eastbound to the VA Medical Center

From Pittsburg/Bay Point BART Station:

• Take the Tri Delta Transit 200 Westbound bus to the VA Medical Center
